The International Capoeira Angola Foundation, Los Angeles Affiliate, was created with the following objectives:

• To train, preserve and disseminate Capoeira Angola according to the traditions of ICAF's lineage.
• To provide a resource for the youth of Los Angeles that both strengthens and empowers.
• To positively contribute to under-served neighborhoods in the city of Los Angeles.
